Course Details

Estimated time to pass: 5 Days
Category C+E is the licence group required to drive a CAT C vehicle with a trailer over 750kgs. This vehicle is also known as an Artic or Class 1. This course is an upgrade course for drivers who already hold their Category C Licence.

Practical Training

Train with City to upgrade your licence from Class 2 to Class 1 in 2 easy steps.

Step 1 – Provisional licence
The provisional licence for Category C+E is automatically granted at the point you claim your Category C licence entitlement when you pass your test.

Step 2 – Training and Test
This is a total of 4 consecutive days training with your test on the 5th day

No provisional application or theory tests are required for this licence category.
